What is Auditing?
Auditing (a new feature in Dacris Benchmarks 8.1) is a way to quantify certain qualitative aspects of your PC configuration. For example, how secure is your PC?
Think of an audit test as a PC exam. Your PC gets a percentage grade after going through a suite of tests related to a particular quality (such as security).
In Dacris Benchmarks 8.1, there are two available audit tests:
Running an Audit Test
To run an audit test, go to the Audit tab on the main Dacris Benchmarks window, and then select the test you want to run, then click Run Test. Be sure you selected ‘Current’ from the Systems in Report list. Audit tests from reference systems can be browsed but not run.
Audit test results can be viewed inside Dacris Benchmarks or externally as HTML or Excel files (use the corresponding buttons on the Audit tab).
