Product Activation and Deactivation

Activation is the process by which you unlock all features in the product after purchasing it.

You must activate after purchasing the full version in order to unlock all features. Also, if you plan on transferring the product to a different machine, you must deactivate it before moving the product (unless you have an Engineer/Enterprise license, in which case deactivation is not necessary).

Here is how to activate:

  1. After starting Dacris Benchmarks, go to Tools – Activate in the main menu. If the option does not appear, it means you have already activated.
  2. Enter your serial number and click OK to activate.
  3. After an online validation is performed, you will receive a message stating that the product has been successfully activated.

Here is how to deactivate:

  1. After starting Dacris Benchmarks, go to Tools – Deactivate in the main menu. If the option does not appear, it means you have not activated the product.
  2. You will receive a message stating that the product has been deactivated and is now a demo version again.
