What is Benchmarking?
Benchmarking, in the context of computers, means measuring performance using a standardized speed test. It’s sort of like an exam for your computer. A benchmark (or benchmark test) is a standardized test designed to measure the performance of a device.
In Dacris Benchmarks, we have a benchmark test for each hardware component of your PC. There is a benchmark for the processor (CPU), memory (RAM), hard drive, and video card. We have two benchmarks for the video card – one for measuring 2D rendering performance (such as when editing videos), and one for measuring 3D rendering performance (such as when playing 3D games).
Unique Features
These features are found only in Dacris Benchmarks:
- System Grade: predict how your system will perform in real-life scenarios
- System Monitor: log system resource usage and identify what causes periodic slowdowns
- One-click benchmarking: it really is as easy as one click
- Unlimited comparison: compare results with as many systems as you want
We challenge you to find these features in any other benchmarking tool.
