Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: What do I do after I purchase NetXP?
A: After you purchase NetXP, you will need to download the
full version. By purchasing a license, you are allowed to use and
distribute the full version binaries with your application as long as
you do not distribute the full-version installer itself.
Q: I'm developing an application that will be freeware or internal
to a company. Do I need to purchase the commercial license?
A: There are some controls in NetXP 4.0 that are no
longer free for non-commercial use. To use those controls, you must
purchase a license. For all of the other controls, you can distribute the trial
version with your application (i.e. you don't need to purchase a
license). You can also freely use all of NetXP 3.0 but no support
will be provided.
Q: What type of license do I get when I purchase NetXP? How am I allowed to
use the trial/full version of NetXP?
A: See the licensing information page.
Q: What is the rationale behind the name "NetXP"?
A: NetXP stands for '.NET experience'. The
name is made up of two parts: The first part comes from .NET, and the fact
that NetXP is a .NET library. The second part is indicative of the fact that
NetXP enhances the user experience of your applications.
Q: Do I get free updates after I purchase NetXP?
A: You get updates/patches for free. You get major upgrades at a
discount. See the licensing information page.
Q: What kind of technical support do you offer?
A: We offer 24/7 free technical support to full version and trial
users of NetXP 4.0. We usually respond to email support requests
within two business days. We also review the posts on our forum
weekly.

A: Yes. NetXP 4.0 has a source-code site-wide license available for purchase.
