A message from a representative of the emerging global consciousness…
We don’t want corporations to control things anymore.
We have grown up in a universe of open-source, collaborative idea sharing.
Everything we experience online is free and in infinite abundance.
We can produce a million copies of any document in a nanosecond.
This universe has never existed before.
It was only with the creation of the Internet that it became possible for such a universe to exist.
Having grown up with this new system for sharing information and collaborating with others, I see no need for corporations to control information, labour, capital, energy or any other resource.
We are fully capable of switching on the global collective mind – our open-source global intelligence – for the benefit of humanity as a whole, with profit for no one.
It is not a non-profit organization I am imagining, for a non-profit would imply that there can be a profit. There can’t be a profit.
The age of exponential growth, profit motive, secrecy, limited liability corporations, and other industrial-era monstrosities has come to an end.
What I see now is the opening of the third “I”: Information.
The third “I” brings about a further diminishment of the “I” (the ego as individual agent) in favour of greater collective collaboration toward the improvement of the general welfare.
The Internet is now a brain, in which we are the neurons. Our ideas and thoughts are now free to emerge and be distributed globally like never before.
In less than a second, a thought originated in Africa can reach 100,000 people around the world, separated by thousands of kilometers.
This has the psychological equivalent of removing all distance: we are all in the same room.
We are not only in the same room. We are in the same virtual macro-brain. We occupy the same virtual 1100 cubic centimeter space.
Our collective thoughts are automatically organized by category, by popularity, by date, by relevance, by author, by keywords, and at least 100 other dimensions.
We are indeed not just in the same room. We are in the same machine. Our brains are now integrated into the machine.
We have now entered into symbiosis with the artificial collective macro-brain we have created on the Internet.
How is this affecting society? It is causing us to reject all of the old notions of profit, greed, capitalism, corporations, and the most fundamental old notion of all: scarcity.
Having ditched the idea of scarcity, we can now think of abundance. It doesn’t take much, because we’re already used to an environment of information abundance.
We now merely have to translate the informational abundance into material abundance.
Everything that has ever been made in the physical world is now being open-sourced or has already been open-sourced.
This includes microchips (see open-source hardware on Wikipedia), solar panels and other renewable technologies, architecture (see Open Architecture Network), and so many more.
We are now in the process of open-sourcing natural resources and geography (see Venus Project), governments, city planning, and the list goes on and on.
We have become very good at open-source journalism, entertainment, and other forms of media. We of course do open-source software extremely well.
This is all starting to look like the dawn of a new civilization: the open-source civilization.
There is no turning back now. Just as there was no turning back for the luddites of the industrial revolution.
The next revolution has already begun: it’s the open-source revolution.
Armed with one brain, with 7 billion neurons communicating with delays of less than one second, we’re now starting to forge our new open civilization.
We have all of the tools to do this now. We can no longer entertain the idea of a doomsday or end of the world scenario, because we are now capable of rebuilding it in less than 2 months with entirely open-source information.
We have transcended the fundamental condition of scarcity which had doomed us to perpetual enslavement.
We are now destined to become free and self-governing, provided that we continue to maintain efficient and consistent engagement of all 7 billion neurons in this giant collective brain.
Together, we can bring about abundance. The abundance we’ve become accustomed to in the virtual world will soon be a feature of the real world.

America in Need of New New Deal
Over the last 3 weeks or so, a lot of protests have erupted across America.
Altogether, these protests can now be interpreted as a revolution now unfolding.
The “Occupy” meme started with Occupy Wall Street and has spread to every city in the USA.
700 people were arrested in New York City.
The mainstream media has been caught with its pants down revising history and showing who they’re truly working for:
The protests stem from the simple fact that, according to US Census Bureau, 98.5% of American households earn less than $250,000 per year and the fact that CEOs earn close to 400 times the average worker’s salary.
The wealth disparity is the primary issue of this new revolution.
I have put together what I consider to be a new new deal that the wealthy American oligarchs will need to accept. It’s not perfect. But the message is simple:
This needs to be done in order to bring back entrepreneurship and democracy, which go hand in hand. When democracy has been corrupted by a powerful group of oligarchs who write rules to establish monopolies, it’s no longer possible to have small businesses and it’s therefore no longer possible to have productive domestic industries.
The oligarchs know no country. They recognize no borders. They control trans-national corporations. They are the ones behind globalization and free trade. They care not about democracy. All they care about is how to buy legislative influence, so that they can establish and maintain legal monopolies (like the Federal Reserve) which benefit them.
They are a cartel of gangsters. Their business is racket. They offer “protection” from the very threats they themselves create (9/11, al Qaeda, bird flu, and all manner of imaginary threats to keep us demanding their “protection”).
This is exactly how the protection racket operates. Protection racket is a classic Mafia tactic used to extort money from small business owners. In the same way, the global trans-national leaders we call “politicians” who have betrayed our democratic form of government are now engaged in precisely this kind of racket, on an ongoing basis, to extort money for their campaigns (the campaigns of the super-wealthy) through the use of governments, militia, and taxation.
