Support & Upgrades

Our standard support package includes free upgrades for the duration of the support period.

Activation

Each per-PC license can be moved between PCs provided that you perform a deactivation before you move the program to another PC.

Engineer License

The Engineer license allows you to move Dacris Benchmarks from one PC to another without having to deactivate. This is extremely useful if you build or evaluate new PCs very frequently. We recommend the Engineer license, as it ultimately provides the best value over the long term.

We provide a standard discount to resellers (OEMs) on bulk purchases of Dacris Benchmarks licenses for resale. If you would like to distribute Dacris Benchmarks as an authorized reseller, please contact us and ask for our standard reseller agreement.

Dacris Benchmarks OEM licenses are single-PC licenses and come in bulk packages of 20 licenses. As part of our standard reseller agreement, we charge $200 for each 20-license OEM package (averaging out to $10.00 per PC). We place no restrictions on the final price a reseller may charge for each license.

Commercial use is considered to be any situation in which the test results generated from your use of the product are exploited for commercial gain. For example, if you are using Dacris Benchmarks to help produce a review of a hardware product for a magazine, or to help provide services (paid) to a customer, you must purchase a commercial license.

Currently, all of our licenses allow you to use Dacris Benchmarks for commercial use.

As part of a standard support package, for the duration of the package, you will receive the following:

• Free major-version upgrades, in addition to patches or minor updates
• Free 24-hour technical support through email or through the online forums

The standard support package is one year. This can be extended to as much as 5 years.
