Working for this large Canadian power generation and research company Dacris Software has developed an on-line Purchase Ordering System as an Intranet Web Application tailored to fit into a complex business and technical environment. The application has entirely eliminated the use of paper in the purchase requisitions process and has successfully automated a number of processes including Analyze and Approval, Signing Authority Delegations, Buyers Notification and other.

Development and Deployment Environment: Windows NT, Linux, Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0, Microsoft IIS & MTS, Oracle 8.1, SAP / ABAP, Sun Microsystems Forte for Java, Visual Basic, Visual C++, Java, Visual Basic Script, Java Script, XML, HTML.

For a recognized industry leader in global IP and data services for multinational businesses Dacris Software has designed and developed the security survey engine used for generating new surveys, editing existing surveys, reporting on existing completed surveys, managing users login and rights, user information and survey specific information.

This was a complex JSP / Java Beans application developed on an Oracle j2ee platform and talking to an Oracle 8.i back-end. The application has been developed using Sun Microsystems Forte for Java, Oracle Container for Java and has been deployed on an Orion Web server.

Dacris Software has designed, developed and deployed an original Web Reports Wizard that was extracting data from a Microsoft SMS Server database residing on MS SQLServer via the dedicated interfaces created by Microsoft for accessing the SMS Server data. The wizard was conceptually designed for being used by non-programmers and it involved writing code in a variety of Web languages and techniques spanning over ASP VBScript, JavaScript,  Java, CSS  and HTML as well as CDO and WBEM.

Development of a pilot Web Site using IBM WebSphere Studio 3.0 (Java Servlets, JSPs), JavaScript client-side functions, Microsoft FrontPage (HTML), Macromedia Dreamweaver (HTML) for a large North American Computer Manufacturing Company.

Dacris Software has built a pilot Web Site for on-line subscriptions. The solution was designed to be easily scaled to include a large number of Canadian magazines.

We have fully built the business logic and the corresponding application solution, developed the HTML/JavaScript pages and the Java Servlets used for database interaction.

We have designed and fully developed a prototype intranet site using Java TM for applets, JavaScript for customized web site navigation, field checking and applet behavior control, and HTML for the general look-and-feel of the site.

For the Marketing Department of this large Canadian publishing company we have developed a Direct Marketing Invoice Tracking System providing the data migration from a FoxPro database to a new Microsoft Access 97 database with Y2K compliancy.

Complex applications that involved building Pervasive SQL relational databases accessed by Tango Enterprise through ODBC, creating the set of Tango applications required by the public access as well as the private administrative access to the database, building dedicated printing applications in Java (JDK2D) and TurboC++ (OWL) and a customized installation program in TurboC++.

We have designed, developed and implemented the Virtual Agent Network as a distributed solution using Tango Enterprise 3.5, Java, JavaScript, HTML, Pervasive SQL 7.0. Among the specifics of this project are a complex database for both public and private access, Tango application files for user interaction with the Real Estate type of information handled, Cookies set on the client that communicate with the Tango server for tracking user's options, Java applets, login and subscription strategies implementation.

Extending the functionality of a complex Java applet used for displaying stock market quotes on www.brokercom.com. The applet was creating a sophisticated animated display screen to which we have added a set of functions to trigger the reading of a text file generated on the server by a number of VBScript applications communicating with COM objects that were used to query the corresponding databases. We have also extended the new functionality by creating a JavaScript Interface used for calling specially designed public methods causing the applet to read data from a diversity of server generated files depending on the user's navigation on the implementation page.
