ActiSetup 2005 Beta 2

DACRIS SOFTWARE INC., October 30, 2004 -- Dacris Software has released the second beta build of ActiSetup 2005, marking the completion of the development of this product, which has taken nearly 14 months. Beta 2 was released only to registered beta testers. A public beta will be arriving in about two weeks, followed, a month later, by the final release.

ActiSetup 2005 is an advanced setup development environment for Windows Installer. It allows developers and software publishers to create installation packages for software products, with maximum ease of use and flexibility. ActiSetup 2005 supports authoring multiple types of MSI projects, from regular installations to patches and merge modules. It also includes an advanced bootstrapper, online updater, and MSI table editor.

For one license, the final version will cost $249 USD. One language pack will cost $199 USD. Currently a French language pack is available, and more language packs will be coming after the final release.
