Dacris Software Announces "Atlantis"

DACRIS SOFTWARE INC., October 20, 2003 --Dacris Software today announces a revolutionary new version of ActiSetup, codenamed "Atlantis".

Set to arrive by mid-2004, "Atlantis" is going to be an advanced setup development environment for Windows Installer 3.0. It will allow developers and software publishers to create installation packages for software products, with maximum ease of use and flexibility.

"Atlantis" will feature an intuitive user interface featuring the Office 2003 look and feel. The user interface of "Atlantis" will reflect the flexiblity of the product as a whole. Users will be able to quickly create installations with a single step-by-step wizard, as well as directly edit the MSI tables for greater fine-tuning.

"Atlantis" will represent ActiSetup version 2.0. It will make use of the Microsoft .NET framework, version 1.1, and the Dacris NetXP component library. More details on "Atlantis" will be made available as development begins.
